In May-dias res

The guys worked over the weekend to cover the second floor in plywood (Johnny and Gregory in this shot), and by Monday it looked like this:

. . . Which is a middle-of-the-action way of getting this blog going May 1.

Just so you know, Sueñitos means "Little Dreams" -- I think a fitting name for this place.

Older shots of the project are still in place on the regular home page for a while, but I uploaded some catch-up images here over the weekend just for the sake of perspective.

Blogger has a few advantages over roll-your-own web pages -- most of them ease of item creation and file management on my part. But on your part, in case you're interested in detail, you should be able to click individual images to see them full-size, and then just hit the BACK button to return to the blog.

By the way, if the Blogger pages take too long to load with images at the uploaded size, please hit me with an e-mail or a comment and I'll scale them back. (I'm still learning the system, and I think it auto-loads scaled-down versions. We shall see.) And given that Google is hosting the files, I feel no guilt at uploading a few gigs of data.

On with the show.
