Good group
Well, the jambalaya was a success -- as were all the meals (Robert figures we cranked 99 plates out of the kitchen from Friday night through Monday brunch), the massive shuffleboard tournament (more about that in a later post), the Gator rides, uncounted mimosas (and bloodies and martinis and margaritas), the day-guests from Houston on Saturday, the quiet times at the pool, the books for those who wanted to read them (the history of the '35 Keys hurricane was a hit, playing against the Weather Channel real-time in the kitchen), the karaoke in the den, the dancing in the hall (though I gave myself some nasty thigh bruises doing slap-percussion for Corey's tapdancing). . . .
Seated with Robert are Gene, Rick and Enrique. Standing with me are Corey, Ward, Ben, Jerry, Ken and of course Toby.
I'll fill in some details once we get the house back in shape.
