The flower is real, but the lighting isn't. I couldn't quite get a great pic outdoors -- no tripod -- so i took the blossom inside, mounted it in an ikebana frog, put the frog on a magenta lacquer tray Ben and Ken gave us for Key West, put the tray on the kitchen table, turned on the soffit lights and side-lit the base of the blossom with a flashlight.
A little bit like telling how sausage is made, I know; but at least the end product is tasty.
But enough about me. (Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.) What about you? Where is your Oz?
