You reusing the tin roof somewhere? The latest issue of architectural record (record homes issue) shows a brand spanking new home clad in recycled tin from barn roofs. Looks cool. Wildly wonderful place in Berkley CA called Urban Ore with stacks of the stuff - and old marble toilet partitions, and old bathtubs, and hand rails, and acres of stuff. A giant yard of old building DNA
To quote Ref: "Too much tin being torn off around here for hurricane repair to start saving that stuff." He does concede that it gets recycled in other ways, which provides a bit of a price break.
But enough about me. (Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.) What about you? Where is your Oz?
