Mixed pickles
While everyone else was working hard this morning, we pickled some scrap boards and took votes.
Kurt and Frank were working on window trims. Mr. B and Nate were getting the work trailer out of the way so the plumbers could dig their main line. The plumbers were putting pan liners in the showers. Franklin was sanding his drywall. Arnold was channeling pineapples. . . .
And we were thinking about more intense yellows.
The board running sort of top to bottom at the far right was the pickling test we ran a few weeks ago. The others were from this morning -- more intense yellow by far, and the variations thanks to drying time and the vagaries of wood.
The intensity was fine by us -- and happily in line, in the yellowest parts, to the wall paint color we picked months ago. Unwilling to re-invent the wheel, we decided to go for it.
